What is a Patient Portal?
A Portal is an easy way for you to keep on top of your healthcare. It's is a secure website, accessed via your phone or computer, that contains all your healthcare data. You can access it anytime you like, 24/7. Book appointments, request prescriptions, check your recent blood test results, and more - all whenever you like, wherever you are.
Why Vensa's Portal?
There are several portals out there, but Vensa offers a few features that make life even easier. Our Portal has been designed with you in mind. We endeavour to make our user experience as intuitive and simple as possible, making it easy for you to look after yourself and your whānau.
Our "Care Circle" / "Dependants" section makes looking after your loved ones easier. Add friends, whānau and dependants to your account to include them in your Care Circle and you can access healthcare services and data on their behalf (with appropriate consent).
With the Vensa Portal you can (if enabled by your practice):
- Book, change and cancel medical appointments
- View your list of medications, allergies, and long term conditions
- Request repeat prescriptions and pick up from your preferred pharmacy
- Make secure payments for your scripts and prepay appointments before visiting your medical centre
- View your lab test results, and any comments made by your doctor
- Get access to your referras, hospital discharge letters and other health document
- Lookup your immunisation history
- See ACC claim data
- Check your upcoming recalls
- Send secure messages to your practice (from June 2025)
- Organise healthcare for your whānau with our "Care Circle", order their scripts, book appointments or review lab results
- Sign up multiple patients with a shared email address
At Vensa we are continually improving our Portal to give you, the user, the best experience possible. Feedback from users and healthcare providers helps us refine and enhance our Portal.
How do I sign up to my Vensa Portal?
Would you like to get access to your patient portal online? If your clinic has sent you this link and announced that the portal will be coming soon, then please do wait for the go-live. Your clinic will send you another email that will easily set up and verify your account against your patient file.
