How do I request a repeat prescription?

Request a repeat script through your Portal in just a few clicks

Requesting a repeat script is a piece of cake with Vensa's portal. Let's get started!

Log in to your Portal account. Make your way to the "Prescriptions" section (at the top of your screen, highlighted in red here). In this section you can see your previous prescriptions, with most recent at the top. Click the blue "Request Prescription" button to proceed.

Select who the prescription is for, and which practice/doctor you want to use. You will then see a list of all medications you have been prescribed in the last 2 years.

To make things even easier all your long term medications (medications you take regularly for your blood pressure, cholesterol etc) are already selected. Click an item to select or deselect it. You can also write a note for your doctor here - great if you need to ask to add on any other medicines, creams etc.

We have selected one medicine to be prescribed (a salamol inhaler, shown in blue above). When you are happy with your selections press the blue arrow to choose a pharmacy. This list will contain pharmacies you have added in the past. You can add a new pharmacy (scroll to the bottom of this list to add a new pharmacy). You will see two options for each pharmacy. Need your script ASAP? Select the "urgent" option for the fastest turnaround. No rush? Go with the "standard" option (note that most practices will charge more for an urgent script service).

Make sure you're happy with your selections and your payment method, then hit the green button. That's it - your request is now sent to your doctor, and you should get an update from your pharmacy soon. A new card will now appear in your healthfeed - click it to show the details of this script request, selected pharmacy etc. Done!
